Salem, IN (November 21, 2004) – Hayden Butler, Crew Chief for three-time 2004 Sunoco Super Series winner and third place finisher in final series points Jeff Lane and Pat Anderson, Crew Chief for two-time 2004 Sunoco Super Series winner and second place finisher in final series points Scott Hantz are the Co-winners of the 2004 Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Year Award. Butler, who won three Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Race Awards during the 2004 season, totaled 60 points in the 15 Sunoco Super Series point’s races this season, the same as Anderson, who won two Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Race Awards.

Butler and Anderson will both receive a product certificate for $500 in product from Gladiator™ GarageWorks at the 2004 Sunoco Super Series 2004 Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 15^th, 2005 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Award Program honors each Sunoco Super Series event winner’s crew chief with the Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Race Award. Each winner of the Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Race Award receives $200 in product from Gladiator™ GarageWorks. The winning crew chief at every event receives 15 points. The second place crew chief receives 10 points, and the third place crew chief receives 5 points.

Jeff Martin, Crew Chief for 2003 Sunoco Super Series Champion Bobby Parsley, was the first Gladiator™ GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Year Award winner with the Sunoco Super Series in 2003. Chuck Barnes Sr., Crew Chief for 2004 Sunoco Super Series Champion Chuck Barnes Jr., finished a close third only 5 points behind Butler and Anderson.
