Anderson, IN (March 28, 2004) - Seven Sunoco Super Series drivers tested at the Open Practice at Anderson Speedway Saturday, March 27.  Series veterans Rick Turner, Bull Baker, 2003 Rookie of the Year, Chuck Barnes, and rookie Greg Boone were testing new cars.  Dave Jackson , and his son, Rookie, Danny Jackson and fellow 2004 Rookie Chris Gabehart were working on a good start to the new season.

Turner will be racing a new Chevy ABC body with a sealed engine package from McGunegill Engine Performance.  Turner's team is very satisfied with the performance of the engine.  "It has impressive power and amazing throttle response.  I cannot wait to race it." commented Turner. 

Jim Crabtree, Jr. was also seen at the track, without his car, but ready to go.  Another 2004 Rookie of the Year candidate, Joe Beaver dropped in also leaving his car at home, but ready to get started.

The first Sunoco Super Series event will be April 17 at Anderson Speedway.
