Salem, IN (July 22, 2004) –Lucas Oil Products, the "Official Lubricant" of the Sunoco Super Series, will be the Presenting Sponsor of the Ludlow Automotive & Accessories 150 Sunoco Super Series event at Shadybowl Speedway on Saturday, July 31st. This marks the third year in a row that Lucas Oil Products has been a Presenting Sponsor of a Sunoco Super Series event at the challenging 3/10’s mile banked oval located in DeGraff, Ohio.

Sunoco Super Series veteran Jeff Lane has won the two Sunoco Super Series events at Shadybowl Speedway sponsored by Lucas Oil Products. Last year Lane got the jump on the start from the pole position on outside front row starter JR Roahrig in the Lucas Oil Products sponsored event. Roahrig was able to keep up with Lane through out the event, but could never mount a serious challenge to make a pass. The race was slowed by numerous cautions, on the restarts from those cautions Roahrig could close right on the rear of Lanes car, but after a couple of laps Lane would begin to pull away from Roahrig each time. Roahrig would hang on to finish second in the event.

In the Sunoco Super Series first visit to Shadybowl Speedway this season on May 22^nd, series rookie contender Steve Moenck followed Scott Hantz for 143 laps of the 16^th Annual Neal Sceva Memorial 151, then won when Hantz was forced to pull off due to a flat tire during a rolling red flag to get his first win with the Sunoco Super Series in his first ever visit to Shadybowl Speedway. Following close behind the Mokena, Illinois native in second was Chuck Barnes Jr., who equaled his best series finish ever for the third time. Jeff Lane finished third with a badly damaged racecar after being involved in an accident early in the event. Junior Hanley finished fourth, and Kenny Tweedy finished fifth, both drivers came from the back of the field after also being involved in early incidents.
