Salem, IN (October 7, 2003)  – The Sunoco Super Series has announced that the 2003 Sunoco Super Series Season Awards Banquet will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, the sight of last season’s memorable celebration. The 2003 Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004, were 2003 series Champion Bobby Parsley will be honored along with all the top fifteen teams in 2003 Sunoco Super Series Owners Points. 2003 Hubler Automotive Group/Blake Carburetion Rookie Of The Year winner Chuck Barnes Jr. will lead a group of selected drivers and team members that will be awarded individual special awards at the Awards Banquet.

Series officials will also be making several big announcements for the 2004 season. There will be drawings for over $8,000 in prizes. Any team attending the Awards Banquet will be eligible for the prize drawings. Prizes will include a 2004 off-set late model body from Five-Star Racecar Bodies, a 2004 off-set late model body from Aluminum Race Products, a welder from Lincoln Welders, product from Ringers Gloves, and Product Certificates from several series sponsors will also be given away.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located in the historic Union Station in downtown Indianapolis, America’s first ever Union Station. The hotel has 275 guest rooms, including twenty-six Pullman train cars still sitting on original tracks, which have been converted to guest rooms. The Sunoco Super Series Awards Banquet will be held in the Illinois Street Ballroom, which sets over top of Illinois Street.

There will be a reception to start the evening’s events at 6PM, followed by a buffet dinner at 7PM, with the awards ceremony immediately following at approximately 8PM. There will be entertainment following the awards ceremony to make it a full night to celebrate the 2003 season and kick off the 2004 season!
