Presenting Sponsor Of The Stapleton Automotive 150 At Shady Bowl Speedway

IN (July 25, 2003) –Lucas Oil Products, the “Official Lubricant” of the
Sunoco
Super Series, will be the Presenting Sponsor of the Stapleton
Automotive 150, the Sunoco Super Series event at Shady Bowl Speedway this
Saturday, July 26, 2003. This marks the second year in a row that Lucas
Oil Products has been a Presenting Sponsor of a Sunoco Super Series event
at the challenging 3/10’s mile banked oval located in DeGraff, Ohio. Lucas
Oil Products was set to be the Presenting Sponsor of the Sunoco Super
Series event at Shady Bowl Speedway scheduled for May 31, but that event
was canceled because of rain and high water at the track.
Last
season Knightstown, Indiana’s Jeff Lane recorded his second career Sunoco
Super Series victory at the series spring event at Shady Bowl Speedway in
one of the series most exciting races of the 2002 season. Lane passed J.R.
Roahrig on lapped 134 and held off a late charge by Scott Hantz to record
the victory. In the summer event Bull Baker scored his first Sunoco Super
Series victory outside the state of Indiana, after several different
leaders got spun out early in the race.
