Sunoco Super
Series To Race At Shady Bowl Speedway Again In 2003
Salem,
Ind. (November 2, 2002) - Champion Racing Association and the
Sunoco Super Series has announced that Shady Bowl Speedway,
located in DeGraff, Ohio, will host two Sunoco Super Series events
again in 2003. The unique 3rd mile racetrack has hosted some of
the most competitive series events the last two seasons. This past
June 1st Jeff Lane scored his second career Sunoco Super Series
victory in the Stapleton Buick GMC 150 Presented By Lucas Oil
Products, while series veteran Bull Baker captured the first of
his two Sunoco Super Series victories in 2002 by winning the AC
Delco 150 Presented By Stapleton Buick GMC on July 27th.
“We have been very pleased with the Sunoco Super Series events we
have hosted the last two years,” remarked Shady Bowl Speedway
owner Charlie Stapleton. “I believe the Sunoco Super Series will
continue to attract this regions best drivers, and will provide
the best racing you can get in any touring series!”
The Sunoco Super Series is tentatively scheduled to be at Shady
Bowl Speedway on Saturday, May 31, 2003 and on Saturday, July 26,
