2006 CRA Fantasy Challenge Rules
The CRA Super Series
is one of the fastest growing short track series in the country and
this is your chance to get involved. CRA Fantasy Challenge puts you
at the wheel of your own team of CRA Super Series drivers. You hire
five drivers who you think will finish each race near the front of
the field. The better they finish, the more fantasy points
your team accumulates. Your team's fantasy points are equal to the
total CRA Super Series points accumulated by your drivers in that
event. The teams with the most fantasy points win weekly race prizes
and season championship prizes.
Driver groups are
initially based on past performance at the track. The groups may
change after each event, depending on drivers' recent
performances, and new drivers continually added to the driver
pool. Your team will not carry over from event to event, so you
must set a new team each week you wish to participate.
Furthermore, you can select a team any week during the contest,
even if you've missed one or more prior weeks. The CRA Fantasy
Challenge consists of a 17 race schedule, beginning at Music City
Motorplex on March 18 and concluding at Winchester Speedway on October
14-15.
Commissioner
T he
commissioner of CRA Fantasy Challenge is the individual responsible
for coordinating and managing the game. The CRA Super Series Fantasy
commissioner will be responsible for resolving any disputes that
arise regarding violations of the rules, or other situations.

Player Registration
To get involved in CRA
Fantasy Challenge is a simple process that will take less than five
minutes to get registered. Simply click on the player registration
link and fill in your team name, owner of the team, valid email
address and home mailing address and hit the send button. You will
be emailed when you are officially registered in CRA Fantasy
Challenge
Selecting Your Team
Each week you will be
required to choose a starting team of five drivers for that week's
race. You pick two drivers from Group A, two from Group B and one
competitor from the Rookie Group by filling out the Make Your
Picks form. In this form also choose the number of laps you
predict the race winner will lead, which will serve as the
tiebreaker. You must hit the send button. The driver pool may change
week to week, as may the rating of the drivers, depending on recent
performances. You are required to reset your team each week. Teams
will not carry over from one event to the next.
If the driver you
select does not compete in the event, but the car does, you will
receive the points for that car.
Team Selecting Deadline
T he
CRA Fantasy Challenge will run for the 17 points events. The final
event on the 2006 schedule at Music City Motorplex is a non-points
event. The deadline for selecting your drivers is just prior to the
beginning of qualifying. If you fail to create a team for a certain
race, you will be awarded zero points toward your overall total.
Although it isn't necessary to participate in each race, it is
strongly encouraged since the participant with the most points over
the course the season wins the championship.
Scoring
How You Earn Points
Scoring is quite
simple. Your team earns one point for each CRA Super Series point
earned by your drivers. Your total team score for each race is the
total of all the CRA Super Series points earned by your drivers
for that race. Your total season score is a combined total of all
your race scores. There will be two double point fantasy events:
Anderson 250 on July 15 and Winchester 400 October 14-15. These are only double point events in the CRA
Fantasy Challenge, not in the official CRA Super Series Owner and
Driver Standings.
