In his first full season with the CRA Street Stocks, Muffley showed he was a force to be reckoned with after leading 43 of the 50 laps in the first race of the year taking the victory.  Through the year he was a threat to win each race finishing with nine Top 10 finishes and six Top 5 finishes, one of only two drivers to have multiple victories in 2008.
