Brian started his racing career working with his father, Bill, one of the most successful car owners in the eastern part of Indiana.  He began racing himself at Anderson and Mt. Lawn Speedways. 

Racing with the Sunoco Super Series from its inception, Brian finished third, first, and second in the first three Sunoco Season Championships.  Taking some time off Rievley came back in 2003 and was running solidly in the points race when his father became very ill.  The team took the rest of the season off and after Bill's recovery look forward racing again in 2004.
